Based in London, George’s main coverage includes the London and Greater London areas, as well as Middlesex, Hertfordshire and the Home Counties. With his distinctive reportage style of wedding photography George has been commissioned to photograph weddings from as far afield as New York, Biarritz, Athens and Tuscany to name but a few and is considered a foremost destination wedding photographer.

Welcome to my website… my name is George and I have my own particular style of what has become known as documentary wedding photography which I create for clients throughout the UK and internationally.

I have been a professional editorial photojournalist for over 14 years working for many prestige titles and agencies around the world. Over this time I have developed my style of photography into an instinctively natural, honest, thoughtful and thought provoking coverage of a subject or story. In my editorial work I predominantly work only with available light creating images that capture the essence of the event or story to produce a pictorial narrative for which no words are necessary. The intention is always that the photos should speak for themselves.

I have carried across this same style of documentary photojournalism from my editorial work to the wedding photography that I create. It has various popular labels.. some call it “Reportage Wedding Photography”, or “Documentary Wedding Photography” or “Wedding Photojournalism”. In essence it is the style of wedding photography whereby one tells the story of the day, be it a wedding or a baptism, through the medium of images both still and moving without the need of a written narrative… In other words I create a photo story of your wedding day.

I have been fortunate as a documentary photographer and photojournalist to have had the opportunity to travel the world covering events and stories and it is that great experience in the art of telling a story through photos that I can bring to your wedding photography coverage.
