Welcome to the wedding photography gallery of my website… My name is George and I have my own unique style of what has become known in the field of wedding photography as “Documentary Wedding Photography” which I am privileged to be commissioned to create for clients throughout the UK and internationally.
I have been commissioned to shoot weddings in London, New York, Athens, Biarritz, Florence, as well as many other cities both in the UK and abroad. My photography has been described as natural, honest, thoughtful and thought provoking, and this is what I seek to bring to my wedding photography. Predominantly I work only with available light to create images that capture the essence of the event to produce a pictorial narrative for which no words are necessary. The intention, as it should be for all documentary or reportage wedding photography, is always that the photos should speak for themselves in telling the story of your day.
My style is very discreet… as with my editorial photography work… I am there to record the story.. not become a part of it. So it is with very little interference from me that I will photograph your wedding… the only photos I stage will be the group portraits, if you wish to have them, and some portraits of the bride & groom…. And even those are not completely staged… normally I ask you (the bride and groom) to go for a walk during which I will photograph you naturally interacting with each other pausing you occasionally for a shot looking into camera.

New from 2011 is the wedding videos that I and my associates are now producing for clients. Using a steadicam mounted Canon EOS 5D MKII to produce beautiful flowing HD videos we fuse together the best aspects of both the still and moving image always in the best traditions of documentary and reportage photography to produce a slideshow wedding movie that no one else is currently producing… the effect is truly stunning and very worthwhile considering… please see the VIDEO page for further details and some examples.
